Frontman of the band Astrid, Charlie Clark, has dropped a psychedelic offering in the form of ‘Blink Of An Eye’. It is littered with woozy harmonies that could be plucked from The Beatles’ back catalogue, and layered with melancholic, laid-back sounds that form something hypnotic. “I wanted the video to be like a hallucination where you can feel the vibrations and rhythms of the most simple things. Where everything is still but incredibly vibrant. Like meditation...or good mushrooms,” he explains. This track is the latest from Clark’s own label, No Big Deal Music. -Dan Peeke
